Broken charger, and just plain broke

Several weeks ago, just before Christmas in fact, I accidentally bought a laptop charger.

Katheryn adopted one of my old laptops, an iBook G4, but the charger was dying. The charger is also dying on her Dell laptop that’s become the “family” computer and is shared for playing games.

I was supposed to buy a charger for the Dell but misunderstood and bought an Apple charger. I raved about Apple’s customer service not too long ago.

Well, I might as well have thrown that $75 into my new garbage can because Kat just stomped it.

I think my blood pressure is returning to normal but that news really wasn’t the first thing I wanted to hear from her this morning.
