Sick kid

Zack called me this morning with another headache, maybe a migraine. They are debilitating and he just can’t get anything done once it starts. He’s never had anything like this before and I don’t know where to turn but the doctor. That’s what I’m doing today.

He left school early on Monday, but I thought maybe it was a one-time deal. Now today it’s happened again. I had already covered two events at work early this morning so I took off to get Zack and find a doctor that can see him. That’s coming up at 2 p.m.

I still have to file those two stories by deadline tonight. I plan to be working on those in the waiting room at the doctor’s office.

Also waiting in the wings is the other kids’ supervised visitation with their father. They are supposed to be there at 4:30 p.m. and my mom is set to take them, but if I can take that burden off of her I will.

Anyway, time to fly for now. I’ve got a doctor’s appointment to catch…
